You might be fortunate enough to be ambulatory - and to have retained your mind - but there are plenty of other pleasures of the living now denied to you.

Even if it doesn't need it anymore... The mind still remembers hunger. Still remembers sleep. Still remembers chills.

And there is no way to satisfy the cravings of the flesh when you no longer have it.

The dead torment the living out of envy.

There was a time I would've told you to find whoever did this and exact revenge to put yourself at rest.

When I was dead, I had always assumed getting vengeance would be the end of it.
